HI - super quick, I’m almost ready to publicly roll out my service menu - it encompasses varying degrees of ways I can help to optimize your wardrobe (& beyond). I have processes ranging from quick & easy to super intensive so you can benefit regardless of where you’re at right now.
A recent email from a current client ❤️: "Working with The Curated Tastemaker was a busy fashionista's dream. I had an idea of the pieces I wanted to add to my wardrobe for months, but hadn't found time in my schedule to go on the hunt. My experience with Bari allowed me to voice the desires I had for my wardrobe and then sit back as she executed seamlessly, bringing my visions to life. Now I'm a walking version of my Pinterest boards, and I never had to leave my apartment."
LOVE!
I reached out to my existing waitlist & spots are already filling up. If you want to hear more about my services before they roll out for real - DM me on IG & I’ll fill you in.
the creative gut:
if you're here, I'm making the generous assumption that you have an interest in expressing yourself through the medium of fashion or getting dressed. Whether or not you’re a couture historian - you recognize that getting dressed can be the very thing that sets you up for a significantly better day (by feeding your Creative Gut), leaving you energized & confident.
But every day is not always as creatively enlightening as the next. We get stuck in ‘paralysis by analysis’ - too immobile to access our imagination & explore the untapped potential of our own closets.
Our clothes feel tired. We wear the same things on repeat, fearing an attempt to reach outside our comfort zones will leave us feeling worse than where we are now.
We make excuses as to why we can’t be more creatively enthused & authentically represented through our clothes. We don’t have the right body, face, taste, financial standing, or city of residence to dress the in ways we wish to.
But none of those justifications are of significance.
I believe the dissonance we experience in dressing ourselves “authentically” is just proof we’re unconscious to our creative potential.
Consciousness, in my definition here, is the state of being awakened to our Creative Gut. The inner creative guidance we can all to tap into through clarity of our style POV.
Living consciously to the Creative Gut is just another way of living presently with your understood taste. My Creative Gut (should I abbreviate this?) tells me what I’m in the mood for. It encourages me to pair unlikely items together in the spur of a moment. It reminds me of a source of inspiration I saw a few weeks ago that “could really work well here”. It is the resource I use to identify what I can create, with what I have, to express who I am today.
If you’re having trouble accessing your CG (I’m doing it for all of our-sakes), there’s a good chance you’re unaware of your POV. DM me on IG if so.

My CG is most easily found through visual cues like Point of View Pieces - items that signal to me, the core intentions of my Style Point of View.
(I had to make a whole ass glossary).
Having a healthy amount of Point of View Pieces in your closet is so important in this way, because as creatives we’re often very visual creatures. We’re nourished through our surroundings, and it’s helpful for us to be constantly reminded of what resonates & why. Even if we don’t wear these pieces every day, they prompt the story we aim to tell.
Exploring the contents of your closet with your Creative Gut can be analogous to dancing in the rain, playing in the availability of presentness. This playful nature is enhanced by artful & intentional curation.

feeding the CG:
Outside of my own closet, I use what I find externally inspiring as leverage to understand more about my desires, passions, and aspirations.
This is why I post my weekly sparks of inspiration on Instagram, to remind you & myself that keeping note of Creative Gut Punches is another way we begin to realize our Point of View.
I highly encourage you to do the same if you’re interested in getting to know your CG better, to not only improve your style but your understanding of Self.
I have plenty of additional tricks and exercises I’m prepared to share that will allow us to go deeper here.
They’re ones I use with my clients who need assistance in accessing their CGs. Subscribe to learn more, and consider upgrading paid for curated & linkable Point of View Piece recommendations.
There is so so so much more to say here, but for now thanks for reading!!
XX,
Bari “The Curated Tastemaker”
